The real problem

It was never about the bathroom.

People don't avoid going out because restrooms don't exist. They avoid going out because they don't know. Relief Pass sells certainty — and certainty is what gets people out of the house.

"Will they let me in if I don't buy something?"
"Is it locked? Do I have to ask for a code?"
"Can I get a walker through that door?"
"Is it clean, or should I keep driving?"
"Do I have to make a scene to use it?"

Why not just use Google Maps?

Google knows where Starbucks is.
Google doesn't know this.

Purchase required?

The single question that keeps people home. We confirm it per location — and re-confirm it, because policies change with managers.

Accessible inside

A ramp at the front door doesn't mean a walker fits through the restroom door. We record what's true past the entrance.

🔑

Code, key, or open

Locked door with a keypad, code on the receipt, ask-the-cashier, or just open. You know before you walk in.

Cleanliness that means something

Rated by people who care about restrooms specifically — not buried in a coffee review from 2019.

🕐

Last verified date

Every listing shows when a human last confirmed it. Stale data is worse than no data, so we show our work.

🤝

Welcomed, not tolerated

Partner locations have agreed in writing: come in, use it, no questions asked. That's the whole promise.

Straight answers

The questions every business asks first.

Doesn't this just mean more cleaning for us?

Some, yes — we don't pretend otherwise. In practice the volume is modest and it skews toward customers who buy something anyway. The honest pitch is that Relief Pass traffic is disproportionately adults 55+ with time and money, in your store, at off-peak hours. Partners get a monthly report so you can see the actual numbers instead of guessing.

What about people who abuse the restroom or cause problems?

Partnership never removes your right to close a restroom, refuse entry, or handle a situation as you always have. Relief Pass doesn't grant anyone a legal right to your property. If a location becomes a problem, you tell us and we delist it the same day — no contract lock-in on that.

What liability are we taking on?

None beyond what you already have as a business open to the public. Listing a restroom doesn't change your premises liability posture. Our partner agreement is explicit that Relief Pass makes no representations on your behalf, and we carry our own general and professional liability coverage.

Why would we pay for this?

Most locations shouldn't, at first — the Local tier is free. Paid tiers exist for operators who want the traffic data, map placement, and the marketing value of a visible accessibility commitment. If you can't see the return in the dashboard, don't renew.

What if your app says we're open and we're not?

That's the failure mode that kills this business, so we treat it seriously. Every listing carries a last-verified date, users can report a problem in two taps, and partner locations sync hours directly. Anything unverified for more than 30 days gets flagged as unconfirmed rather than shown as fact.

Are you charging people to use our bathroom?

No. Finding and using restrooms through Go Now is free and always will be. Premium is a $29/year planning tool — offline maps, trip routing, a physical card. We think charging for emergency access would be both wrong and bad business.
